Connected Support & Service

JMF Support Services was founded by Jacki Finch, with over 25 years of successful utility experience. Jacki understood firsthand, the many challenges facing project managers within the industry. Based on her knowledge and experience, she created a Project Support Team that mitigates technical and customer issues on behalf of the Project Managers. JMF Support excels at eliminating barriers that prevent projects from executing on-time and on-budget, while ensuring a premier customer experience.

JMF operates as the central point of contact between the Project Managers and the customers of the company- simplifying the process of getting needed answers, resources, and proper “next step” actions to ensure the completion of their projects.

Our systems help us integrate into the Project Manager’s workflow, serving as an extension of their team. This enables the Project Manager to focus resources and efforts in other areas, which helps increase efficiency. Our service ultimately helps reduce costs by removing barriers prior to construction, improves customer satisfaction and removes unnecessary burdens.

FULLY CONNECTED SUPPORT

Our team has officially been supporting ComEd’s Premier Customer Experience (PCE) since early 2015. However, the pilot program that led to the creation of the PCE team started in November of 2013 on the Storm Hardening program. ComEd’s challenge was staying ahead of customer inquiries regarding work scheduled to be perform in the area. Our team of experts contacted and met with customers in order to alleviate any concerns. Our proactive approach allowed projects to be constructed on schedule saving the program money and time while ensuring that customers received Premier Customer Experience.

The successful customer outcomes achieved on the Storm Hardening program led to additional requests to support additional programs for ComEd, as detailed below. Our services grew from initially supporting customer inquiries to include pre and post construction communication, meetings with engineering companies to provide constructability input, and working closely with Real Estate and Vegetation Management groups. Our team acted as liaisons to inform customers of upcoming projects and the benefits following construction.
